“School Play”
Test
Grade B+

Part I.Drama critics write reviews of plays to give their opinion of a performance. In one paragraph, write a review of Robert's play for his school newspaper. Use your imagination to fill in the details, but include details from the story, too.

1. Robert's play was exciting as well as adventurise. Blendia and Robert are the main characters. Some are background snowflakes. the play will take place in Mrs. Bunnin homeroom. I enjoyed this playa except for the fact that one person forgot his lines.

2. What message or theme do you think the author is trying to get across in “The School Play”. Write at least two sentences, one to list the theme and one to explain how what happened in the story shows this theme.

The theme in this story is the author is trying to connect to the readers about a little of bullying. For example, blendia is threating robert if he forgets his line or messes up her time to shine.
A theme is a truth about life that the author is trying to convey. What you wrote needs to be turned into a statement saying something about bullying, not just identifying it as a topic in the story.

3. Use each of the following vocabulary words in a sentence that relates to the story.

a. depleted: robert flet depleted when he forgot his line.

b. smirks: The Second Grade smirked at Robert after the play.

c. quiver: Robert quiver before the show.

d. relentless: Robert relentless his lines.
